Five nights at Freddy's is a highly-acclaimed indie point and click adventure game developed and published by Scott Cawthon of Fullbright. It is his fourth episode in the Five Nights At Freddy's series. This time around, there are three teenagers - Jason (Dylan Minnette), Billy (Ben Myers), and Freddy (Nathan Fillion) who've just gotten a job at the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza outlet in Fazbear City. The very first nightthey are just about to go on a visit to the playground where Freddy conducts his restaurant. Freddy is a fan of movies like"A Nightmare On Elm Street", so he's excited about seeing it again.
After settling their money, they head out to Freddy's Pizza at the night that he is advised to start his show. They are dressed up to impress, as Freddy is a very famous artist. The doors of five 4 his office are available, but as Jason and Billy hurry in, Freddy catches them. Jason and Billy operate out, while Freddy opens the doors of his office. Inside, Freddy takes his mask off, revealing his true identity - Freddy Kruger.
Freddy immediately begins to assault Jason and Billy. Freddy uses his magic powers to turn people to stone or to make other objects move on their own - like a truck ahead of Jason. In addition, he makes Jason feel sick. Freddy also uses his capacity to control people, such as when he makes Jason believes he's having a heart attack.
Freddy is much more terrifying when he touches Jasonturning him into a sword. Jason can fight back, however, with his unique powers of telekinesis and his voice. Jason manages to catch Freddy, but Freddy uses his ability to throw Jason into another dimension. Jason gets his memory back and heads straight back into Freddy's Pizza.
But, Freddy has an ulterior motive - to get back at Jason and Billy for kidnapping him and breaking his soul. If Jason kills Billy or even Jason, he will end up with a trophy. So, Jason and Billy head to the pizzeria to find their killer...
Five nights in Freddy's turns the regular point and click action sport in the last games to some full-blown horror experience. The images are amazing. The sound is excellent. The voice acting is superb. But, there are a number of glitches in the storyline.
Freddy is always around, but he never attacks Jason or even Billy. Freddy is simply a backdrop character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are actually fake, which Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy must find out what happened to Freddy and stop him before it is too late.
While the narrative of Five Nights at Freddy's is an interesting one, it may not be the best person around. Because of how the game was put together, the events that happen may appear unnecessary or confusing initially. But once the narrative and the characters are explained and the storyline starts to fall into place, the game begins to make sense.
